I recently tested an excellent Wifi-extender from them the RE450 and the supplied app is obviously from Tuya, however here tweaked so much for their own hardware, that the standard Tuya-app does not work with this hardware. TP-link calls it "Tether" instead of SmartLife.

I get more and more convinced that awaiting "<a href="https://www.tuyausersblog.com/forum/topic/facts-on-the-matter-standard/">the Matter.standard for IOT´s"</a>, that Tuyas SmartLife-app is the defacto standard used by many well known brands. Some of them rebranding Tuyas hardware+app, some of the just branding the app in standard or tweaked form.</blockquote><br>
